GENERAL
Work location
Scandpower is an international consulting company and now a key member of the Lloyd`s Register Group. Work location will primarily be at one of our office locations listed above.
However, opportunities exists for short or long term engagements at our clients locations and projects globally or within the Lloyd`s Register Group with 280 offices in 80 countries. Currently we need additional resources in the following locations in addition to those specified above. Singapore, Perth (Australia), Kuala Lumpur, Aberdeen, London and Calgary.
Qualifications
The people we are looking for:
- You have a university degree, i.e. MSc , PhD or equivalent
- You have experience within one or several of our services or market areas
- You have an analytical mindset and focus on problem solving
- You enjoy working with people and have excellent communication skills
- You have a business attitude
- You have integrity
- You have humour and enjoy the pleasure of working with good colleagues towards common goals

Oil & Gas
Scandpower has more than 35 years of experience from serving the oil & gas industry with risk management services.
Scandpower carries out projects for all the major international oil & gas companies as well as the engineering and service companies serving the oil & gas industry.
Our market also includes ship yards, drilling contractors, vendors and various service companies.
Scandpower is involved in the whole value chain from early phase pre-conceptual evaluations, through engineering, commissioning, operation, and modifications and decommissioning.
Nuclear
Scandpower carries out projects for owners and operators of Nuclear Power Plants as well as vendors of turn-key plants and subcontractors.
Organizations working with waste management, transport and storage of nuclear waste as well as nuclear authorities in a number of countries are among our clients.
Growth in nuclear, on a global basis, is at the core of the Energy strategy for the Lloyd’s Register group and we are seeking to grow the team with more of the best.
The Scandpower software package RiskSpectrum® is used at more than 50 % of the world's nuclear power plants for safe operation of the plants.
Transport
Scandpower carries out projects for all the major players in the Scandinavian rail market, including both owners and operators of infrastructure, operators of rolling stock and train manufacturers. Engineering companies and vendors serving the rail industry are among our clients. Several rail projects have also been carried out in the Far East and in the Middle East regions.
Within the aviation industry Scandpower works for several of the commercial air lines, the airport operators and owners and users of helicopters.
Energy
Within the energy sector Scandpower provides a vide range of risk management services working for owners, operators and the service supply chain for hydro-,
wind-, solar- and thermal power generation.
Grid operators and power distribution companies are also among our clients
Industry
Scandpower carries out projects for capital intensive land based industries with potential high risk exposures, e.g. refineries, chemical industries, etc.
